制品型遇水膨脹止水條又稱PZ制品型遇水膨脹止水條。它是一種既有一般橡膠制品的性能，又有遇水自行膨脹性能的新型防水材料。止水、防水效果比一般橡膠止水條更為可靠。

　　 b、當(dāng)接縫或施工縫發(fā)生位移，造成間隙超出材料彈性范圍時(shí)，普通型橡膠止水材料則失去止水作用，而該產(chǎn)品還可以通過吸水膨脹來止水 。
　　 c、使用遇水膨脹橡膠作為堵漏密封止水材料，不僅用量節(jié)能，而且還可以消除一般彈性材料因過大壓縮而引起彈性疲勞的特點(diǎn)，使防水效 果更可靠，耐水性、耐化學(xué)性能和耐老化性能良好。
　　 d、它主要應(yīng)用與盾構(gòu)施工法現(xiàn)砌接縫防水，建筑物變形縫，施工縫用止水帶以及金屬構(gòu)件，混凝土預(yù)制構(gòu)件接縫防水。
